Rug Class
At Pride of Persia, our emphasis is on education. Once a year we offer an eight-week class entitled "The World of Persian Rugs" through Rice University's Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies. The next class will meet at Rice University on Tuesday evenings beginning September 16, 2008.

New Arrivals
Oushaks are here! We have recently received two shipments of beautiful Turkish Oushak rugs. These join our exquisite rugs from Hadji Jalili Revivals along with our Heritage rugs and Persian Loribaft Gebbehs as among the most desirable newer pieces available today. Visit our searchable gallery to see these as well as our extensive collection of antique rugs.

Congratulations!
Yet again, we celebrate the achievements of Puya Alikhani. Many of you remember him as the young man who worked here from 1999 until 2006 while attending college. He is now a fourth-year Texas A&M medical student at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. This fall he will have visiting appointments in neurosurgery at St. Luke's, Southwestern, and the Mayo Clinic. His wife, Narges, is a first-year resident working at Scott & White Hospital.
